We recognize there may be reasons why a refund or equal exchange of values might be necessary or desirable. For example, because the complete array of training webinars for Chicago, Illinois employees is greater than for non-Chicago employees the cost differs. If you initially ordered an education program appropriate for one jurisdiction such as the city of Chicago employees in error and wish to exchange it for the program appropriate for a different jurisdiction such as non-Chicago employees, we would consider a form of credit or a refund of the difference appropriate.
When "non-Chicago" or "Chicago" options are selected, the employer selects the number of employee "slots" or "credits" or "codes" they require. Refunds can be considered for unused slots or credits only within the "relevant time period" during which they were originally purchased. Unused slots, credits or codes carry over to the next requirement period and continue to be available for use. A refund will not be considered once the initial period in which the products were purchased has expired. This is known as "the relevant time period".
"Relevant time period" is defined as follows: It is understood that Illinois law requires sexual harassment in the workplace training for all Chicago and non-Chicago employees (which is to say all Illinois employees) beginning January 1 of each calendar year, and that the city of Chicago has added additional requirements for Chicago employees which must be satisfied during the fiscal year of June 1 through May 31 of the following year. Upon purchase, each "slot" or "credit" or "code" that will be passed to employees to satisfy their harassment training requirements contains all the required training webinars based upon either the selected "all Illinois" or "Chicago" option.
A single order by a business can include a combination of "All Illinois employees" and "Chicago employees" options. At the time of purchase the employer selects the number of "slots" or "codes" in each option to be used by employees to complete their appropriate training.
Training slots, codes or credits remaining unused during each "relevant time period" of purchase do not expire, but instead will carry over and be banked on the employer's behalf toward the next "relevant time period" requirements. Any slots or codes purchased but remaining unused at the end of the "relevant time period" will not be considered for refund after the end of the initial "relevant time period" in which they were purchased but will however remain "live" and become part of calculating the employer's discount for purchase during the new "relevant time period".
