A majority of businesses in the US consist of single member sole proprietorships, S-corps or LLCs in one form or another. Since Illinois statutes mandating employee sexual harassment training requires the employer to pay for the training, it follows that any self-employed person can purchase it for themselves. If from time to time they hire part-time or seasonal employees, the owner would be required to pay for the part-timer's compliance.
Login to HarassmentWebinars.com and tap the "Redeem Code" in the upper right corner of the site page. Enter the code assigned to you by your employer and follow the simple directions to create your personal account. Your webinars and certificates of completion will be available each time you login.
When purchasing for one or more employees a master account is created for the employer. The account is updated in real time as each employee registers, progresses through the training, and completes their training. The system also sends regular updates so the employer can track employee compliance.
The Employee Workplace Sexual Harassment Training webinar is constructed to be one hour in duration to satisfy IDFPR requirements. Supplemental Restaurant and Bar training is not required to be one hour. The Supervisor and Manager training webinar required by Chicago Ordinance is approximately one hour for the same reason, but the Bystander training webinar is a bit shorter.
Immediately after you complete each training webinar you are required to take, both a printable Proof of Completion certificate as well as a wallet size version will appear in your account. Each has an embedded QR code for easy verification at remote locations.
Yes. All unused codes (if any) from your previous purchase will be counted right along with your new number of codes requirement to help determine what your total discount will be this time.
Whether it is one or more employees that require training, law and ordinance require the employer to be financially responsible for the training as well as the employee's time in training.
The moment you complete a compliance training webinar, the printable proof of your compliance will be in your personal account along with a wallet card that will include a QR code for immediate verification if required off-site.
Yes. HarassmentWebinars.com discounts begin with the second employee, and discounts roll-over for unused purchases! A discount chart is available right here on the website.

Who is Required to Satisfy Annual Illinois Sexual Harassment Training?

Formerly Senate Bill 75, Public Act 101-0221 was signed into law by Governor Pritzker in August 2019. Under this Act, all employers with one or more employees that work or supervise workers in Illinois are required to train employees on sexual harassment prevention in the workplace by December 31, 2020, and on an annual basis thereafter. Failure to do so will result in fines and potential penalties. Chicago ordinance requires additional training as well.
